This page is an archive of links to various documents I have created and publicly shared as parts of articles and other projects of mine. Please feel free to browse or share the information contained within.
If you wish to cite this data in a project of your own, you're free to do so—please just credit me and provide a link to the original document. Also, please keep in mind that this data is collected by an amateur primarily for fun, and there are inherent biases in how the data was gathered.
GW2 Content Over Time
Created as part of an article where I examined whether or not the sentiment of new-model expansions being smaller was actually true, this document's first tab quantifies how much content of different types was added in each release and calculates a "score" for each, while the second tab compares those scores based on the length of time between each release.
Notes:
- The document was last updated as of the release of Janthir Wilds: Repentance.
- The scores attributed to different content types are subjective. For example, an explorable zone is worth three story steps or meta-events.
- Some of the categories into which content is sorted are, as many pointed out, too broad. For example, mounts are treated the same as other major mastery lines, and adventures, jumping puzzles, and minidungeons are all sorted into one category.

GW2 Playstyle Survey Results
Created to collect data for an article where I discussed how GW2 fails to teach its players and prepare them for difficult content, this survey asked basic questions regarding players' experiences in GW2 and their perception of their own skill level.
Notes:
- The survey is now closed, but the results are publicly available to view.
- The survey was posted on r/GuildWars2 and in two GW2-related Discord servers, namely the unofficial Guild Wars 2 server and Guild Wars 2 University. The results are therefore biased in favor of the types of players that frequent those communities.

GW2 Encounter Difficulty Survey & Results
Created as an aside during the creation of this article, this survey tasked surveyees with rating each GW2 raid, strike, and fractal CM encounter on three axes of difficulty. The resulting information was compiled in a document which sorts the encounters in order of community-voted difficulty. Also included are ArenaNet's official difficulty ratings, average community difficulty scores of content types based on difficulty level, and a pair of bonus tables used in my discussion of which raid bosses would be appropriate for inclusion in raid quickplay.
Notes:
- The survey remains open; you can submit your answers at any time. It also supports response editing, so you can fill it out across multiple sessions or change your previous answers.
- The survey was posted on r/GuildWars2 and in the unofficial Guild Wars 2 Discord server. The results are therefore biased in favor of the types of players that frequent those communities.
